 Help us return the forgotten wealth!

We are currently seeking volunteers to assist UnProp.com in acheiving its goals.  The two projects actively recruiting are data collection and tracer/locator services.

Data Collection

We are actively seeking raw unclaimed property data from the following states:

Minnesota, Virginia, Georgia, Utah and Washington.

Ideally, this data would contain the complete state-maintained database but we will accept smaller portions of the entire database.  We prefer the following formats:  Google spreadsheet, OpenOffice spreadsheet, Excel 2010 spreadsheet, and CSV.  If you have data in other formats, please send it to us at unprop.com_@_gmail.com and we’ll convert it for our use.

Some states charge a fee for their databases.  If you would like to donate your funds so that UnProp can purchase the data directly from the state agency, please visit this donation page.

Tracer/Locator Services

We are currently seeking individuals to assist us with these important tracer and locator services.  This includes:

  1. Finding people on Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites
  2. Research obituaries and family trees to discover heirs
  3. Finding current mailing addresses
  4. Finding e-mail addresses
  5. Researching small business ownership in state records

We’ll give you small snippets of U.P. records.  You locate the individuals or businesses that are due U.P.  You share your findings with us and we’ll take care of the rest: notifying and assisting with the return of unclaimed property!
